Applications
Application portal: coming soon.
When it opens, the portal is intended to let businesses submit an opportunity and its supporting information for structured review. It is not open yet.
This website does not accept applications or documents yet. The interest form on this page is a preview and is not connected: nothing you enter is sent or stored. Please do not send sensitive commercial documents until the portal and its privacy notice are published.
Before the portal opens
We will put these in place first:
- 01A published privacy notice explaining what is collected and why
- 02Clear terms for how submitted information is used and shared
- 03Secure processing and storage arrangements
- 04A defined review process with named, accountable reviewers

Questions
Frequently asked questions.
Can I submit an application or an opportunity today?
Not yet. The application portal is coming soon, and this website does not accept applications or documents. You can already register your interest on the Get involved page; that form is a preview and is not connected yet. When the portal opens, it will come with a privacy notice and clear terms for how information is handled.
Is the Copperbelt platform operational?
No. Copperbelt is a proposed operating model in development, and nothing is in production yet. This website is Stage 1 of a five-stage roadmap. Request intake and supplier offers, AI analysis with human review, the driver workflow with proof of delivery, and richer visibility are planned for the later stages.
Does Copperbelt provide payments, financing or credit?
No. Copperbelt does not offer payments, lending, financing or credit. Whether buyers pay suppliers directly is one of the decisions still open, and Copperbelt would only ever handle funds after legal, regulatory and banking advice. Credit judgement and every financial authorisation would stay with people, under approved business rules, agreements and applicable regulation.
Will AI decide whether an opportunity is approved?
No. The planned evaluation engine reads and cross-checks documents, scores them against configurable criteria and routes each file to a person with the evidence attached. A person makes the decision. A score is a summary of evidence, never an approval, and missing evidence is never scored as a pass.
Where will Copperbelt work first?
The initial focus is the DRC–Zambia Copperbelt. Which corridor and which commodity go first is still to be decided with pilot partners.
Who is Copperbelt for?
Buyers and mining operators, suppliers and contractors, transporters and drivers, and the reviewers and decision-makers who sign off — plus organisations interested in piloting or partnering on the approach.
Nothing on this website should be read as a partnership, endorsement or affiliation with any government, mining company, corridor programme, financial institution or logistics provider.
